In January-May 2018, the total import and export value of China reached US$1814.45 billion, with an increase of 16.8% year on year (the same as below). The export was US$957.06 billion, with an increase of 13.3% and the import was US$857.39 billion, with an increase of 21%, the trade surplus was US$99.67 billion, with a decrease of 26.8%.
In May, the total value of the Chinese import and export was US$400.82 billion, with an increase of 18.5%. The export was US$212.87 billion, with an increase of 12.6% and the import was US$187.95 billion, with an increase of 26%. The trade surplus was US$24.92 billion, with a decrease of 37.5%.
