In January-May 2019, China’s total importand export value reached US$1786.21 billion, with a decrease of 1.6% year onyear (the same as below). The export was US$958.34 billion, with an increase of0.4%, and the import was US$827.87 billion, with a decrease of 3.7%. The tradesurplus was US$130.47 billion, increasing by 38.3%.
Right in May, the total value of theChinese import and export was US$386.03 billion, with a decrease of 3.4%. Theexport was US$213.85 billion, with an increase of 1.1% and the import was US$172.19billion, decreasing by 8.5%. The trade surplus was US$41.66 billion, with anincrease of 77.9%.
