In order to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Commerce and Hunan Province, share resources and gain from each other’s comparative strengths, as well as to consolidate the outcomes of the previous cooperation and further promote the sustainable, healthy and stable development of commerce, the Ministry of Commerce and Hunan Provincial Government signed a new round of ministry-province cooperation agreement on April 25. According to the agreement, the two sides will deepen cooperation on China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, economic and trade cooperation platform with Africa, priority work on domestic and foreign trade, rural revitalization in the counties that MOFCOM has been paired with designated by the central government and other aspects based on the new positioning of commerce work and Hunan’s strategic goals of building high ground in advanced manufacturing, technological innovation and inland reform and opening up. The cooperation agreement aims to help Hunan open new prospects of reform and opening up and accelerate high-quality development of commerce.
